Hygiene

Within the femme-hygiene, adult incontinence and diaper markets, absorption performance is often one of the key performance parameters. SAF can be incorporated within a range of nonwoven fabrics that absorb and retain liquids within their core.

In addition to offering excellent fluid absorption, rapid uptake and low re-wet performance, due to the fibrous nature of SAF such fabrics are also soft, discreet and comfortable. Integration throughout the final product is also easy to achieve due to the fibre make-up of most absorbent cores. This results in excellent conversion, minimum wastage, uniform distribution and consistent absorbency performance.

Washable fabrics have also been developed based on the same super absorbent technology.

Technical Absorbents would be happy to offer advice as to the suitability of its SAF and converted materials for any given hygiene product/application.
